We’re always told to keep going...if your lucky enough to receive support
Maybe real strength isn’t in keeping going.. maybe real strength is found in letting go.
We’re always told to keep going. If your lucky enough to receive the support.
Push through.
Stay strong.
Don’t stop.
But what if “keep going” was a curse?
Sometimes, if you’re lucky to receive support,
you’re told to keep going.
Keep going is seen as resilience.
You’re strong enough to persevere.
You’re determined.
But maybe the real strength
isn’t in keeping going.
Maybe the real courage
is in letting go.
Letting things fall into alignment
without the need for control.
Without the need for force.
Because if you have to force it,
it’s not alignment.
It’s not for you.
To let go takes courage.
To face what you secretly fear.
To stop holding what was never meant for your path.
What if “keep going” means running on empty?
Pushing forward without pause?
Ignoring the truth that rest, or change,
is what’s really needed?
Because “keep going” can also mean:
Endless endurance — burning out in silence.
Avoidance — moving to escape pain or truth.
Perpetual striving — never enough, always chasing.
Survival without living — motion without presence.
Framed that way,
“keep going” stops sounding like inspiration.
It starts sounding like a sentence.
And maybe that’s the paradox.
It takes strength to push on.
But it takes greater courage to let go.
To stop grasping for control.
To release the need to force outcomes.
To trust life to flow,
even without your struggle.
Sometimes, the bravest act
isn’t to endure.
It’s to surrender.
To rest.
To let things be.
✨ Maybe the real wisdom isn’t always in keeping going.
Maybe it’s in knowing when to stop.
