The Self-Love Fallacy
The Paradox Between Choosing Yourself and Being Yourself
The courage to know yourself is the deepest courage you will ever face.
But the question remains: is the journey worth it?
To love yourself fully, you must know yourself fully.
And yet, most people don’t want to know themselves.
Because facing yourself is the most difficult form of truth.
But truth is where love — and healing — begins.
You might not meet every version of yourself in this journey — and that’s okay.
Because we are human.
And to take the first step is all it takes.
You don’t need to be understood.
The courage to be misunderstood — and sometimes even disliked for the right reasons —
is another form of courage. Likability is a sub product that comes from living your authentic self and choosing kindness.
It means being willing to be disliked for choosing to face yourself.
You can only be loved by others once you truly love yourself.
And once you arrive here,
you begin to live in the highest frequency.
The Paradox
A clear reflection: the balance between choosing yourself and being yourself.
The deepest courage is to face yourself. But the question remains: is the journey worth it?
To face yourself fully is to love yourself fully.
And yet most people don’t want to face themselves —
because it is the most difficult form of truth.
This is why we lie.
To ourselves.
To others.
And it becomes the greatest deceit.
Even the self-love trend can be a form of deceit.
Of course, it is important to love yourself.
But real self-love requires balance and skill.
Because to love yourself fully,
you must also love others the way you want to be loved.
And this — this is the greatest form of self-respect.
Always,
Zahra
